In 1992, the Amazon Queen pioneered peacock bass fishing in the Brazilian Amazon. The objective was to provide our guests with the ultimate combination of luxury and adventure. This being said, she soon became famous among international fishermen and has become the standard against which all other fishing trips are judged. Guests of the Amazon Queen have included such fishing greats as Jimmy Houston, Roland Martin, Johnny Morris along with 2,853 other fishermen during her 12 year reign. This incredible ship will increase the level of comfort, convenience and privacy that our guests have come to expect while maintaining the look and feel of an Amazon River boat. The floating hotel has air conditioned cabins, private baths and a huge 33 foot long dining area.
The
Amazon Queen II is 103 feet long
and 25.5 feet wide. The levels are about 7 feet tall so our
taller guests can walk about the decks with comfort. It has
larger rooms than the original Amazon Queen and will accommodate
20 passengers in 10 state rooms. The Queen II
is also equipped with a satellite phone for constant
communication with the outside world. |

You'll live on the Amazon Queen II during your whole trip, departing each morning by Nitro boat with a guide and fishing partner, returning each evening for dinner, a nightcap and sleep.
